What is the standard equity to offer a technical co-founder?

I am a non-technical founder with a validated idea and some initial funding. I am bringing on a CTO/technical co-founder who will build the V1 of the product.

What is a fair equity split assuming we are both working full-time on this moving forward?

This heavily depends on your feature set, but for a solid React/Node.js MVP, I would budget between $25k and $40k. Anything lower might compromise on quality or use cheap templates that will be hard to scale later.
